How many tokens can we use in the COPYandPAY widget in a single transaction?

Modified on Tue, 16 Jan, 2024 at 6:06 PM

The COPYandPAY widget allows merchants to execute a one-click checkout process as outlined in the following link: https://peachpayments.docs.oppwa.com/tutorials/integration-guide/registrationtokens

This process allows a merchant to pass through previously-created tokens when invoking the widget so that the widget can display these stored cards to the user and enable the one-click checkout scenario.

Merchants can send up to 255 tokens in the CheckoutId request for the widget. However, we only display the 10 most recent tokens to the shoppers.

FAQ around the endpoint change:

  • Are credit card tokens shared between oppwa.com and eu-prod.oppwa.com?

    • Yes, this will have no impact on any tokens that have been created or any new tokens.

  • Is the same data shared between the two endpoints? That is, if we did a card authorisation on oppwa.com, would the capture succeed on eu-prod.oppwa.com? -

    • Yes, the same data is shared and available.

  • With regards to transactions we see on the BIP, is this data also shared between the two?

    • Yes, it’s the same BIP and Console, there is no difference.

Deadline - End of June 2022 the current endpoint oppwa.com will be deactivated/redundant
