Each month, Nedbank provides its merchants with a detailed electronic statement outlining all associated fees for their payment processing services. This guide explains what to expect in your statement and how to access the secure document.
What's in Your e-Statement?
At the end of every month, you will receive an email from the "Nedbank Card & Payments Division".
This secure e-statement contains a full breakdown of your charges for the month, including:
- Your monthly service fees.
- A split of charges for credit card transactions.
- A split of charges for debit card transactions.
- The total Value-Added Tax (VAT) applied.
How to Open Your Encrypted Statement
For your security, the statement is not a regular PDF. It is sent as a secure, encrypted file that has a .emc
file extension. To open this file, you will need to use Nedbank's official software.
Follow these simple steps:
Download the Striata Reader
The required application is called the Striata Reader. If you do not already have it installed, you will need to download it.
Use the Official Link
You can download the Striata Reader directly from Nedbank's website using this link:
Open Your e-Statement
Once the Striata Reader is installed on your computer, you can simply open the .emc file that was attached to your e-statement email.
