Peach Payments

If you have already moved over to the updated new Endpoint or if you are using a Peach plugin, please ignore this notification. If not and if you have a custom integration with us, please ensure you implement the below changes or you will not be able to process transactions from 18 August 2022.

At Peach Payments, we strive to continuously provide world-class, leading payments infrastructure that offers a secure and seamless experience for our merchants and their customers.

One of the major initiatives that we are currently undertaking is switching over our merchants to the new Peach Payments endpoint, as part of a global roll-out that will significantly improve the security of the platform.  We're currently in the process of migrating to the new improved endpoints.

What action is required from You/the Merchant?

You, as the Merchant, will be required to perform several validation steps prior to switching over to the enhanced endpoint to ensure a seamless migration to the new endpoint. This includes:

1. Removing any restrictions on IP addresses for outbound connectivity

2. Ensure systems connecting to ACI support at least one of the available cipher suites 

3. Validating certificate configuration

These requirements are covered in greater detail in our enhanced endpoint guidelines.

NB! Please make sure to go through our enhanced endpoint guidelines and complete the required steps prior to switching over to avoid any disruptions to your transaction processing.

Once you have successfully completed the steps outlined above please ensure you have checked all your API calls to have updated/are using the new endpoint

• Please make sure to also update to the new endpoint URL when rendering the payment widget

FAQ’s around the Endpoint Change:

• Are credit card tokens shared between oppwa.com and eu-prod.oppwa.com?

  • Yes, this will have no impact on any tokens that have been created or any new tokens.

• Is the same data shared between the two endpoints? ie. If we did a card authorisation on oppwa.com, would the capture succeed on eu-prod.oppwa.com? -

  • Yes, the same data is shared and available. 

• With regards to transactions we see on BIP, is this data also shared between the two?

  • Yes, it’s the same BIP and Console, there is no difference. 

Deadline - End of June 2022 the current endpoint oppwa.com will be deactivated/redundant
