In this guide, you will learn how to provide a merchant with a sandbox account that works for Shopify V2.
IF the merchant does not have their LIVE credential yet, then use our Peach live account to link.

Step 1: Create the sandbox account
- Log onto https://testconsole.peachpayments.com/#/login
- Navigate to 'Merchants'
- Click 'Add Merchant'
- Fill in a 'Trading name'
- Navigate to 'Checkout'
- Click 'Create Checkout'
- Trading Name + Shopify Checkout
- Example: Peach Payments Shopify Checkout
- Create the merchant accounts as requested
- Navigate to 'Channel Info'
- Open the Checkout channel that you created
- Click 'Accounts'
- Attach the merchant accounts
- If you haven't generated the password, this is the time to do that.
- Navigate to 'Development' -> 'API Credentials'
- If the API Password is blank, click 'generate password'
- If you haven't generated the password, this is the time to do that.
- Navigate back to the checkout and copy the entityID.
- Add the user to the sandbox
Step 2: Create the live account
- Log onto https://console.peachpayments.com/#/login
- Navigate to 'Merchants'
- Check if the merchant already exists first, if it doesn't.
- Click 'Add Merchant'
- Fill in a 'trading name' as per the Pipefy card
- Navigate to 'Checkout'
- Click 'Create Checkout'
- Trading Name + Shopify Checkout
- Example: Peach Payments Shopify Checkout
- Create a Peach Payments aggregation account (ABSA Aggregation Direct)
- NB: This merchant account should NEVER be used to transact live payments.
- Navigate to 'Channel info'
- Attach the Dummy account to the checkout channel you created
- NB: Keep the Dummy merchant account inactive
- Navigate back to the 'Checkout' tab
- Insert the sandbox checkout entityID in the test entity ID field
- Provide the merchant with the live checkout and secret token
- NB: They do not require access to the live console yet, do not add them
