Dear Merchants,

We have been notified about a 3DSecure issue ongoing since 18:30 PM yesterday with FNB issued Visa Cards.

Currently card transactions for Visa cardholders may not be going through.

We have been in touch with Nedbank and Bankserv and they have confirmed that they have investigated on their side and it seems to be only affecting FNB Cards. The average response time from the directory server/issuer for FNB cards is currently at 11 seconds compared to the normal 3 to 4 seconds. The issue started at 18:24 last night.

They are also trying to contact FNB and as soon as we receive an update on this we will let update you.
