What happens when the session of the shopper times out on the payment form?

The shopper stays on the page, and when he/she presses the ‘submit payment’ button the payment details are send to the system, but the transaction will fail due to the session time out.

 

What happens if the shopper gets lost, i.e. never returns to the shop?

If a shopper gets lost (e.g. if his browser closes during the payment) your problem would be that you don't receive the final status of the payment. Therefore, we notify the return URL after 29 minutes so that the GetStatus call can get triggered.
